Pastors Daniel & Sabrina Mangrum

Pastor and Co-Pastor

Pastors Daniel and Sabrina Mangrum have always served as a ministry team. Long before husband and wife ministries were popular, they were pioneers and trail blazers of this type of ministry. Uniquely gifted in their own right, they have worked together seamlessly for over 38 years. Each shares a critical part in the other’s ministry and complements each other perfectly. Together, they have navigated through the construction of three new buildings and numerous ministry challenges.  Inseparable and unified, they have been like a tag-team for Jesus. Pastor Sabrina’s administrative skills, along with Pastor Daniel’s shepherding skills, have served to help them balance each other and ensure effective ministry.

The Marriage Ministry has been an integral part of their ministry. They share insights from their own personal experience in helping to strengthen marriages throughout the body of Christ. However, this joint ministry has been most effective in providing a model for how a man and woman can work together in ministry. In the tradition of Aquilla and Priscilla, they have served faithfully in the work of God. Together they have set the standard for not only marriage, but for ministry in the 21st Century.

Doctrinal Statement

Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church believes the Bible is God’s word and is the basis for all doctrine. We are a body of believers who are a part of the International Body of Christ. We believe our purpose is to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ on this earth until He returns. The ministry of Jesus Christ involves four (4) main areas: Salvation, Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Healing and Deliverance.

  • OUR BELIEFS

    • We believe every person is born spiritually dead with a sin nature. Therefore, every person must accept and believe in Jesus Christ and lay claim to what He did on the cross in order to be saved (Romans 10:9). After a person has made a decision and commitment to Christ, we believe he/she should be baptized in water to signify to all the inward change that has taken place. We believe it is the responsibility of every member of the Church to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all they come in contact with at home, job or business.

    • We believe after one has been saved, there is a need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us when we are saved but in addition, we must all be baptized or filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). We believe the Baptism with the Holy Spirit is critical because this experience empowers the believer to live the victorious Christian life and gives power to witness. We believe the speaking of tongues is the initial sign of one being filled with the Holy Spirit (It is not the only sign but the initial sign.).

    • We believe that God’s Word makes provision for us to walk in divine health. We believe God not only saves us from our sins but also has promised to heal and maintain our bodies. We believe sickness was the result of the curse of sin and since Jesus was made a curse for us we can live free from sickness (Isaiah 53:3-5). We believe in the laying on of hands of those in the congregation attacked by sickness.

    • We believe Jesus Christ has given us authority over every demonic work of the devil. We believe in binding and casting out demonic forces in the Name of Jesus.
